Mom's latest adventure....the Red Rock Relay!!

What a fun race! I've never done a relay before and I loved it! I decided to put a team together and although it was difficult to create time for something fun like this amongst my families crazy schedule, I'm so glad I did!  It was great to have a team with you every step of the way, cheering you on.  We covered 70 miles through beautiful Moab.  My first leg of 7.5 miles was beautiful and I felt great...the second leg on the other hand was tough. It was only 2.75 miles, but it was switch backs that didn't stop going up, up, up! I think I'll take the longer, flatter legs next time!! Great friends! Great fun!! Go Team Red Rockettes!!!

This picture is of one of the gang of bikers that we met on our route.  We asked him if we could take a picture of his bike and he insisted we take a picture with it and HIM....so cute!!
