Here's what we are up to...

It's hard to leave our kids for 2 long weeks, but we knew this was a great opportunity to serve that we couldn't pass up. I'm excited to come home and share our experiences with our family and friends.

We were so blessed to have many people wanting to donate various things for the people in Guatemala. The hard part was figuring out how to fit it all in our bags and keep it under 50lbs.

Ireland was so cute. She totally understood that all the fun toys, books, crayons...were not for her. She hugged the little toy horse on a stick and said, "Mama, a baby in "Mala mala" is going to just LOVE this horsie!" I can't wait to show her a picture of the happy child who is lucky enough to receive it.

It's going to be work, but it's going to be an amazing experience!
